» Skids and floor joists on all buildings are pressure treated. » Wall studs are 24 inch on center, doubled under siding and seams to help seal building, same strength as 16 inch on center (as in home construction).

» Floor joists are 2x4’s, 16 inch on center and set into notched skids to prevent twisting. Floor joists are 12 inch on center on all Garages.

Economy style buildings are not certified as a standard. These can be built as certified for an additional charge.

QUALITY MATERIAL

QUALITY CONSTRUCTION

The Pacific Northwest region experiences extended periods of rain and extreme moisture. Customer maintenance on the shed may be required to remove moss, mildew, algae, fungi and the like. Sheds may require additional waterproofing or paint in extremely wet locations. While our water sealer works well in most cases, it cannot be guaranteed in locations with extreme moisture. Old Hickory’s warranty therefore excludes water sealer.

» We offer a choice of siding:• 1/2” Fir (not pressure treated) - Best choice if you intend to

paint within a year.• 5/8” Pine (pressure treated) - Best choice if you do not

intend to paint. Benefits include thicker materials, pressure treated wood, and a lifetime warranty against termites and decay.

» All buildings come with lock & keys. » 30 year architectural shingles or 29 gauge metal roofs are standard.

Old Hickory Sheds, LLC, and its associates are not responsible for permits, covenant searches, restrictions, set backs, yard damage, or underground damage. Please contact your local Building Inspector or Homeowners Association for information. It is the customer’s responsibility to decide if ground conditions are unsuitable for delivery. Free Delivery covers one trip up to 30 miles one way, over 30 miles subject to a $3/mile (8ft and 10ft wide), $3.50/mile (12ft wide) or $4.50/mile (14ft wide) over 30 miles charge one way, and any additional trips may also incur charges to the customer. Additional deposit may be required. Free Setup includes leveling, starting with one corner at ground level, up to 3ft with customer supplied blocks, we can supply blocks for $3.00 each.
