The S t rong Electr ic Corporat ion has announced the signing of a licensing agreement with Luma-con Corp., whereby Strong will manufacture and market Tubolite high intensity traffic obstruction markers. Tubolites have been designed for high visibility marking of entrances, exits, rotaries, parking spaces and traffic channelization. The one-piece, closed top, self-cleaning translucent plastic light-tube contains fluorescent pigments which provide a brightly illuminated visual target even in heavy snowfall and fog. Called the "Caddyles", this all-purpose club, which weighs only 18% ozs., puts new fun in golfing. It has a Tru-Temper metal shaft and does everything other clubs do, the company claims. An adjustable wing nut prepares the club for the next shot.

A new, l ightweight, low-cost sandtrap rake, manu-factured by the Container Development Corp., NP31 Monroe Street, Watertown, Wis., 53094, is now available from all Lewis Line golf course equipment dealers. The head is a one-piece, high-density, industrial-type molded plastic which cannot rust or corrode and will last for season after season, the company claims.

It has been announced that William (Billy) Langford, dean of American golf course architects, has been named a principal with the firm of McFadzean and Everly, Limited, of Winnetka, 111. Mr. Langford has been in the field of golf course design for many years, dur-ing which time he has designed more than 250 courses.

McFadzean and Everly, Limited, Park and Recreation Planners, appointed Mr. Langford as part of an expansion pro-gram aimed at meeting the increasing demand for recreational facilities in the US, particularly in the golf course field.

Eugene L. Sparrow, a veteran of 17 years in the tractor and equipment in-dustry, has been appointed industrial sales manager of Ford Motor Company's U. S. Tractor and Implement Opera-tions. He previously was training de-partment manager.

Mr. Sparrow joined Ford in 1953 and has had a series of management posi-tions since then. Prior to that, he was with the former Dearborn Motors Corp.,
