Product and service research Promoda provides the best and most innovative
solutions in dyeing, printing, embroidery, washing
and finishing and sewing techniques.
Production planning and order follow- up
The QC s and the merchandisers provide a permanent
follow up by collecting daily information from the
factories about the whole process. Promoda has an
extremely detailed and complete tracker that is the
filled in with daily information, registering all the data
related to the order in question, providing a faithful and
permanent register of the product life cycle.
Product development and approval Sampling and approval is supervised by Promoda’s
technicians who verify each request and technical
demand of the product before shipping out the
final sample to the client, thus avoiding loss of time.
Promoda follows each step of the sample creation:
Prototype- Photographic and sales samples- Completion
of final sample for approval and registration.
Price Negotiation The factories selected by Promoda have
substantial percentage of their turnover
sold by Promoda, This provides an excellent

Result analysis and actions correction In a sampling stage, Promoda and its clients meet in order to analyses the fitting sessions and go through all the involved details, identifying the ones that need improvement. A commercial analysis is also carried out after the collection launch in order to identify every possible improvement that will help the client to sell better and more in the next order.
Quality control, in-line
inspections and final inspection Promoda’s technician’s monitor every production by visiting the factories on a daily basis during the production run in fabric, application (print, embroidery ), stitching, and finishing stage until goods are shipped.

WHY BANGLADESH?
Bangladesh is the second largest exporter of RMG in the world exporting over 132 Countries. This export is estimated to double from 2010 to
2015 and nearly triple by 2022
In 2013, the total export of Bangladesh has crossed the USD 30.18 billion mark with13.83% growth.
The growth of this industry has been dramatic, increasing from 30 factories in 1980, to over 6000 in 2014.
The RMG sector provides direct employment to around 4.4 million people, 80% of who are women

Bangladesh RMG Sector has duty-free market access to most of the developed countries including EU, Norway, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, and
Australia.
Bangladesh garment manufacturer exporters association (BGMEA) working to build a safe and sustainable garment industry. The MoL and EC, BIDS Studies
found that about 80.8 percent factories buildings are approved structural designs, 85.9 percent factories are approved layouts, 92 percent factories have
valid fire safety licenses and 55 percent factories electric generator is located outside of the factory.

Promoda can work with quantities as low as 500 pieces per style per colour. This
enables us to work with supermarket to fashion brands to the private label companies.
Lead Time Having equipped with own factories Promda works with private labels which need
to be shipped out in 30days from development. In general, the lead time for the
garments with local fabric is 60 to 90 days and for imported fabric is 120 to 150 days.
Worker issues Since Promoda has its own code of conduct it takes full care of worker issues
maintained in their factories. Based on customer requirement they also works
with BSCI, SEDEX, or WRAP approved factories.

BANGLADESH A safe place to produce your clothing
On 24 April 2013 more than 1100
people died in one of the world’s worst
industrial accidents due to the collapse
of Rana Plazain the Savar district of
Dhaka. This came just months after a fire
in the Tazreen Fashions that killed an
estimated 112 workers.
After that incident the buyers group formed Accord and Alliance
and demanded higher structural safety. Engineers of the Accord
on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh, the platform of 186
retailers predominantly based in Europe, found less than 2
percent of the inspected factories unsafe for production and
occupancy (http://www.thedailystar.net/less-than-2pc-of-
factories-unsafe-accord-says-41561).
That meant that Bangladeshi garment
