BERRIDGE SPACEFRAME: A GREEN, SUSTAINABLE WAY TO BUILD
Uses and Applications:Berridge Spaceframe Building System Com-ponents are used in single and multi-family residential, light commercial, assisted living, hotels/motels and other low-rise projects.Products in Place:Berridge Spaceframe Building System Com-ponents are used to fabricate light weight wall and roof panel assemblies that are easily transported and erected at the job site. Stan-dard components are offered to the contractor much the same as conventional timber but at about one-fourth the weight, and with absolute dimensional stability.Assembly and Installation:Berridge Spaceframe Building System Com-ponents may be quickly assembled at the construction site, with no sawing or cutting. The framing contractor is provided with simple, easily followed typical installation details.Materials and Finishes:Wall and roof panel assemblies use cold-formed, light gauge aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel, produced to highest industry standards. Stan-dard gauge thickness is .0239 24 minimum gauge 40,000 p.s.i. Grade C material to deliver maximum performance at minimum weight.Technical SupportWall and roof panel assemblies are specified using the design criteria shown in this brochure and in the “Design Manual”.
Codes and Certifications:Design professionals may use the loads and properties for Berridge Spaceframe Building Systems components to design structures which meet local building codes and other certifications.Environmental Data:Berridge Spaceframe Roof and Wall assemblies are constructed with recycled steel products from leading steel suppliers and are completely recyclable -- a “green” and “sustainable” build-ing product.
