Blue Valley School District has asked us to partner with Level 5 Solutions in order to create an application to inform parents and students about what’s going on in the Blue Valley community. In order to complete this project our team consists of five business students, two technology students and two design students.

The Objective

We are currently creating an app for the Blue Valley School District which will provide easy access to Blue Valley News, Calendars, and Grades.

We are also working with Level 5 Solutions who are helping us create the app.

District already has a website, logo, and social media network, so they have asked our team to create a phone application.

• The application isn’t a condensed version of the Blue Valley website. The information is going to be updated daily and easily accessible for parents and students at all times.

• Our design team researched other school applications in order to come up with the best design for the Blue Valley School District application.

• Our team took into consideration the elements that the school district wanted to keep and what they expected of an application.

• Our goal is to create ease of use for the parents & students to access the district information at anytime from their iPhones.

• The Blue Valley School District App will update automatically, it will be pulling from Blue Valley’s Facebook and Twitter.
