What makes the regions unique

Jobs during the Colonial Times

Apothecary was the closest thing they had to doctors and they

did all the surgery

unsmith was an expert in metal and made many of the guns the

used to fight.

ilversmith was a excellent sculptor who designed many objects.

Music and Instruments

ToolsAxes were used to

cut down trees and

were use to build

their housesHammers were commonly used with blacksmiths and

carpenters. They were very useful for nailing

things into something.

Hoes were used for gardening and helped dig up crops.

Food

There were many types of food= the colonists ate. One of them is Shepard’s Pie. Another is welsh rabbit

HomesThe poor

people lived

in little

dugouts.

The rich people lived in big brick hoes with plantations

Middle class lived in 1 to 2 room houses that had an attic.

Education was very important in the 13 colonies.

Many parents couldn’t afford it so most kids learn at

their homes.
