• Kinetic Energy: The kinetic energy of an object is the energy which it possesses due to its motion.
• Potential Energy: stored energy, the ability of an object to do work due to its position or internal structure.
• Gravitational Energy: Potential energy that is stored in the gravitational field due to gravity.
What will happen to the two different temperature spheres when dropped at same height?
Hypothesis: If you drop one ball at room temperature and one that is warmer, the one with higher temperature will bounce higher.

What was the transformation of energy during the demo?
Happy and Sad Spheres: Kinetic energy and motion of dropping the ball that contains potential and gravitational energy

With heat: Ball absorbed thermal energy, which means it cannot absorb as much thermal energy during
collision.
Our hypothesis that the more heated spheres would bounce more was correct.
