Grand Mosque/Cathedral

of CordobaI choose this mosque because it is the grandest Islamic architectural achievement in the western world and it was the center of the Muslim city of Cordoba, which, during the time of the mosque’s construction, was the center of knowledge and learning alongside Baghdad.
