Cursive Script is at the foundation of script lettering and is something that not all of us had the chance to really learn to any degree of skill while we were at school.
I’ve put together a free video and worksheets to help anyone at any level to acquire this skill, but remember that practice makes perfect (or close enough to).
The video can be found on Youtube: https://youtu.be/1SMlUs9Wijs
Above all enjoy learning to create something away from the computer and that can serve so many perposes from just making your hand writing look nicer to adding
an extra skill set to your design services.

PENS
PENTEL N850
Here are some of the pens I use on a daily basis to create my cursive script. I use these due the tip size and the consistency of the ink flow is great, especially when I’m using the Gold & Silver ones on black card. But with all pens it’s personal taste, so I’ve listed some alternatives at the bottom if you want to try those.
SHARPIE FINE POINT
KRINK K-42
MOLOTOW 227HS
PENTEL N50 BULLET TIP
PENTEL METALLIC PAINT MARKER MMP10
OTHER BRANDS TO TRY
PAPER
HP COLOUR LASER PAPER100 G/M2
DALER ROWNEY BLEED PROOF MARKER PAD
RHODIA 19559C DOT GRID DOTPAD
Using permanent marker pens requires a heavy weight paper to stop them bleeding through or a pad specifically designed for use with marker pens. Here are 3 examples of paper / pads I use with the pens from the previous page.
If writing directly on the guideline sheets
If putting the guideline sheets under a blank sheet
If not using guideline sheets and writing on a pad instead

BADGE TEMPLATE
Why not use your new found cursive skills to produce a quote badge. Print out and place below some tracing paper or thin printer paper and then add your cursive script in the center and a simple sans-serif style round the outside. Scan in and then place over your favourite photo and share with your friends on social media.
