In rickets condition
vitamin D and calcium supplements Surgical and other procedures
Present treatment
During breast feeding give oral vitamin D daily(400 IU drops)
Increase the activity of 1 α hydroxylase Decreased the activity of 24 hydroxylase

Calderol commonly used as hypoparathyroid agents in some areas also used as vitamin d in the
treatment of rickets
PTH increases the activity of 1-α-hydroxylase enzyme, which converts 25-hydroxycholecalciferol to 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol, the active form of vitamin D.
Role of parathyroid hormone in rickets
We can increase the production of parathroid hormone
