WHAT AM I?
By : Jaylyn Hall
I’m an insect.
I only lay 1 egg at a time but I can lay many in a single day.
I’m found in open habitats like meadows, fields, and cleared roadsides.
I come from an egg.
If something tries to eat me they will get hurt because there is poison in my wings.
People say I’m the most beautiful of all butterflies.
I used to be a caterpillar.
I have two wings and I use them to fly.
I’m a certain kind of butterfly.
In 3 to 4 days my eggs will hatch.
What am I?
I’M A MONARCH BUTTERFLY!
