Britain was invaded in 43 A.C. by the emperorClaudio. They left Britain in 410 A.C. because the Saxons invaded Britain.

In 55 B.C. the Romans tried to invade Britain, but failed.

In 54 B.C. they tried again, but were unsuccessful even though they had 30,000 warriors.

The majority of people were farmers and they lived in small villages. There were also craftsmen who made jewels.

Clothing in ancient Rome generally consisted of the toga, the tunic, the stola, brooches, and breeches.

The Roman religion was polytheistic .

Their gods were
