Plot

Los Angeles street racer Dominic Toretto falls under the suspicion of the LAPD as a string of high-speed electronics truck robberies rocks the area. Brian O'Connor, an officer of the LAPD, joins the ranks of Toretto's highly skilled racing crew undercover to convict Toretto. However, O'Connor finds himself both enamored with this new world and in love with Toretto's sister, Mia. As a rival racing crew gains strength, O'Connor must decide where his loyalties really lie.

Interesting facts

Paul Walker died in the making of fast and furious 7

Only one other classic Mopar was used for the film besides Torreto's Dodge Charger.

As the Charger is flying through the air towards the end of the movie, the stuntman and his helmet are visible for a few seconds.

Interesting facts

Mia and Letty filling out forms at the DMV, but it’s true: both characters’ respective actresses had little to no experience behind the wheel before the first film began shooting.

Because of course there is. Eagle-eyed Fast fans may have noticed an incredibly familiar sight in the family film’s early junkyard scene: none other than the 1970 Dodge Charger driven by one Dominic Toretto in the original Fast & Furious. Which can mean only one thing: Fast & Furious and Herbie: Fully Loaded confirmed to take place in the same universe? We’re goanna say yes.

Success rate

Thanks to the huge, $117 million opening for Fast & Furious 6, Memorial Day weekend set a new box-office record. The three days saw a combined $323 million in ticket sales for the top 10 films, including another big sequel, The Hangover Part III, which underperformed with $51 million.
