The following are a few of the many testimonies that we have received from customers regarding bed and bucket liners. These liners have and are continuing to be successful in their service. This report is from a South- western USA copper mining op- eration. “Dennis, we finally got our tonnage tracking program up and running again! We ran the report for a Komatsu 930E haul truck, with a 320-ton sized bed. I installed .75” WC500™ Wear Plate liner material on the floor at the tail end of the truck bed; and since that installation 16 months ago, it has hauled 6,898,200 tons. To date, the wear liner at the rear of the bed is showing .225” of wear. The projected life of this liner package (provided through thick- ness and hardness of the plate) is roughly 28 more months of service before replacement will be required. Bottom line, the WC500™ Wear Plate is holding up well. The previous lin- er material that I was using lasted 16 to 18 months before it would “kick the bucket.” The liner would begin to curl and peel prematurely. The cost per ton hauled of the old liner was approximately $0.018 to $0.021 per ton. My best calculations show me a ‘tons hauled cost’ of $ 0.007 per ton with the WC500™ Wear Plate! This shows that my WC500™ Wear Plate liner has a potential of lasting Don’t “Kick the Bucket!” Typical wear in a dump bed. by Mike Sexton Komatsu 930E WC500™ Wear Plate installed in a Komatsu 930E dump bed as a liner package.

regularly dropped us a line about how our products are holding up. The following are a few of the many testimonies that we have received from customers regarding bed and bucket liners. These liners have and are continuing to be successful in their service.

three times longer than its predecessor! I will continue to monitor the testing of the WC500™ Wear Plate and keep you informed of the results.”

The next report comes from a cus-tomer in a west coast Cement Plant. He writes, “In the past, before we had met anyone from Wear-Concepts, our 966 loader buckets were considered a disposable, throw-away item. Once destroyed by our extremely abrasive ag-gregate, the buckets were either cut up for scrap metal or sold as part of a used loader package. We were going through a bucket every 5000 hours. Enter Wear Specialist Dennis Todd. His proposal sounded almost too good to be true. A custom made WC700Plus™ liner package for a bucket destined for the boneyard at a fraction of the price of a new buck-et? We gave it a try. Once installed, the old bucket looked better than new. The question was, how would it perform? Bottom line, we’re getting over 15,000 hours of wear life out of a liner pack-age. That means a Wear-Con bucket lin-er package lasts at least 3 times longer than a standard OEM unlined bucket. When our WC700Plus™ lined buckets finally “kick the bucket,” we plan to re-line them again. Recently we sold an old loader. To my dismay, we forgot to remove the bucket that had been lined with Wear-Con’s WC700Plus™ bucket liner package. I’m still kicking myself over that one getting away from us!”

Would you like to see these kinds of results? A Wear Specialist can come assess your particular situation, mea-sure your bed or bucket, and get you a quote for a custom liner package. Dont “Kick your bucket” or your bed. Save it with our help!
