Good practices identified related to entrepreneurial education

1. EDISON (Denmark) - age 13
• Runs over four months.
• Edison is focusing on pupils’ and teachers’ approach and ability to be creative and on product development.
• Pupils go from idea to product and end at a marketplace with similar school projects.
• Cross-curricular teaching, that shifts between theory and practice.
• Give the pupils a special knowledge about the entrepreneurial mindset.
1. EDISON (Denmark) - age 13
• Pupils’ projects participate in regional and national competitions and in trade fairs.
• Recognized by the European Commision as ”Best Practice in Entrepreneurship Education”.
• Project Edison combines the practical with theory, which enables all pupils to participate equally with their competences.
• It shows how entrepreneurship teaching in a simple way can create young entrepreneurs.
• Teachers are participating in a camp, to learn how to use the tools needed for educating the pupils.
2. ENTREPRENEURIAL HALLAND (Sweden)
• The main goal is to raise the proportion of individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit
• The initiative focuses on schools, teaching school staff about entrepreneurial learning, creating meetings between the various stakeholders that need to come together as well as working on the conditions for starting businesses and/or commercializing ideas .
• Recognized by the European Commision as ”Best Practice in Entrepreneurship Education”.
3. ENTRIS (Sweden)
• The goal is to implement entrepreneurialteching methods in schools.
• The focus of the initiatives is to give school staff the knowledge and the tools to implement entrepreneurial teching methods.
• The education system are supposed to prepare children and youth for jobs not yet existing, for solving problems not yet known, with technology not yet invented!
• Therefore ENTRIS offer competence in entrepreneurial learning approach to school personnel.
4. GROWTH (Sweden)
• The goal is to reach school development through teachers based training in the topic of entrepreneurial learning.
• The initiative uses a process based on teachers training method where the project coaches each school in the development process into a more entrepreneurial learning environment.
