Under the conditions of accreditation, the accredited body is required to use equivalent conformity assessment processes as demonstrated during the accreditation review process and covering the specific scopes as listed for all clients. The interpretation of the accreditation status of organisations is as follows: (i) Applicant = indicates a bona fide application to ASCB for accreditation services but does not entitle the applicant to any benefit or right to market, audit, assess, register or certificate under the ASCB regime, (ii) Provisional = indicates that the organisation may conduct assessments and certifications under the ASCB regime but because of administrative and logistical constraints unrelated to technical or quality assurance matters may have accredited status withdrawn without notice, (iii) Full = indicates an unrestricted accredited status, within scopes defined elsewhere, to conduct specified services within the ASCB regime, (iv) Suspended = indicates that the organisation is currently not permitted to issue certificates under the ASCB regime but that all currently issued certificates are deemed valid, (v) Withdrawn = indicates that the organisation is no longer associated with ASCB and are instructed to desist from referencing ASCB in any way that may be of commercial or technical benefit to them.
