MINISTRY PLAN REPORT Weekly Plan $43,477.86 Weekly Offering $34,571.67

COMMISSION SUNDAY Plan $408,000.00Offering

ATTENDANCE REPORT: February 15, 2015

Commiss ion Sunday brings focus to Christ’s purpose through His gospel. Christ’s love compels us to GO partner with God’s people to plant seeds around God’s global world. God is active and working. When those who go to our mission points return, they are so enthused by what God is doing. Commission Sunday gives us an opportunity to call attention to the eternal work God is doing through missions at the Edmond Church of Christ.

Everyone has a unique perspective on Commission Sunday. It causes me to reflect on the 25 years my family spent planting churches in domestic mission work. New congregations typically are intensely missional, but frequently lack the resources that could give them greater momentum in spreading the gospel. Missionary families are very passionate about the ministry, but can be discouraged by too few resources. That is where partnership in Christ’s body is vital to achieving His mission for churches. We are making cross-cultural connections that are international life-changing differences in Christ.

As part of Commission Sunday, we will have a special contribution. Every dollar contributed next Sunday goes to support our full-time missionaries and to supplement the costs for members going on Edmond mission trips.
