Karaama is Arabic for miracle; an impossi-ble life changing event not explicable by natural or scientific laws, therefore often attributed to divine agency. The founder of the Karaama brand overcame the most impossible of odds, at the bleakest stage in his life.
After a very successful amateur boxing ca-reer with a fight record of only one defeat, life was in the fast lane and prospects were looking enviably good for him. But a sud-den stroke of fate during a horrible road traffic incident, would force this fighter to quite literally fight for his own survival and existence.
After 3 offers to shut down his life support machine and 17 life-critical operations, the
loving father and husband astounded the most stubborn of sceptics and divided med-ical opinion.
Not only surviving the ordeal, he relaunched himself into the world of fitness and mus-cular physique. This is what he came to de-scribe as a karaama. It became clear to him that this extraordinary and profound turn-ing point in his life needed to be eternal-ised, as a mark of recognition and humility.
So he embarked on founding the brand that would act as a symbol of triumph and vic-tory for so many, an icon for those who ac-knowledge the momentous turning points in their lives. Coupled with this extraordi-nary experience and his intense passion for all things chic, the Karaama brand was born.

Now in its third year, the Saverah Women Expo celebrates a new gen-eration of high-achieving females and demonstrate the many ways in which Muslim Women are participating in the British Community, along with highlight-ing their progress and development as active citizens.
Featuring an incredible mixture of ex-hibitions, modest fashion shows, sem-inars, networking opportunities, and more, Saverah Women Expo is the biggest event of its kind in the UK and Europe. It provides a powerful platform for Muslim women to showcase their in-credible talents and start-up concepts.

With exhibitions by 100 female Muslim entrepreneurs, more than 5000 vis-itors are expected to attend the event, which is spearheaded by be-spoke events firm, Saverah Events. It continues to pioneer empowerment projects by facilitating changes to atti-tudes, breaking stereotypes and pro-viding opportunities for Muslim wom-en everywhere.
Besides discovering the latest mod-est fashion and Muslim female-run businesses, attendees can take ad-vantage of educational seminars, net-working opportunities and presenta-tions by motivational speakers.
