Construction activities – January 2017This notice provides information about major construction activities that will be happening in your area until the end of January in the lead-up to Christmas as part of the CityLink Tulla Widening Project – weather permitting.

In addition to the dayshift, there will be ongoing nightshifts from now until 15 February with the majority of our scheduled work focussed on completing the final preparation work for a wider bridge across the Moonee Ponds Creek and the support foundations for the new noise wall.

In coming weeks residents can expect to see significant progress in the construction and installation of the noisewall from Wallace Crescent to the Pascoe Vale Road exit ramp.

Construction of the new noise-wall framework and the reinstatement of the noise-wall panels will be followed by the resurfacing of the roadway. The noisewall is scheduled for completion in March 2017.

We are also continuing our work to stabilise the embankment between the freeway and the creek.

While these works are not expected to generate significant noise for residents, we apologise for any inconvenience it might cause.

More specific updates will be provided closer to the time of these future works.
