There is no such formula for BETA calculation. Lack of Conceptual Clarity
4.8 and 4.25 are the variances, the same here has been used as Standard Deviation , which is wrong
There are lot of conceptual mistakes in the answers.
Similar problem is there in the study material , lack of practice in such questions has resulted into loss of marks here.Lost 6 marks because one mistake in how to adjust Inflation.

You totally ignored the financials of the new product in this question. other wise all other calculations are correct. Could have saved 5 marks by adding profit of 24 lakhs from new product sales in 143 Lakhs of existing profit.
