-Select M,39,0,E -Check that Option 2 Phy Framer is set to DS3-Change Option 3 Cell delin to HEC or PLCP-Change Option 4 to scrambled or not (must match at LIM and connected device.)-Check that Chip Type is set to SUNI QJET-Set Option 10 Reconfigure to yes

-Select M,70,3,3,G[link number],E -Change Option 2 to Enable or Disable -Change Option 3 to scrambled or not (must match at LIM and connected device.)-Change Option 4 Framing to sf or esf -Set Option 5 Line Code to ami or b8zs -Set Option 6 Line length (A through F)

-Select M,39,0,E -Check that Option 2 Phy Framer is set to E3-Change Option 3 Cell delin to HEC or PLCP-Change Option 4 to scrambled or not (must match at LIM and connected device.)-Check that Chip Type is set to SUNI QJET-Set Option 10 Reconfigure to yes

All procedures start from the root menu.M,19,3, indicates keystrokes.The comma indicates the Enter key.The [number] indicates a specific link.To correct a keystroke error, press Esc key. If necessary, go to Step 3 to start over.

-Select F,C then arrow to the proper file for site: confT13.4hec for 4 T1 links� confE13.4hec for 4 E1 links-Press Enter to select highlit (“Copy From”) file. -Arrow to config.cfg file, then press Enter.-At confirmation prompt, type Y(es).-At root menu, type W, N, type Y to confirm.

4.0 -Select M,0 (System screen).-Select 0 to specify a contact phone number.-Select 1 to specify a unique node name.-Select 2 to specify node location.-Press X to confirmation prompt, type Y to save.

5.0 -Select M,94,3,E (Tunnel Management Table).-Select Option 09 then enter new IP for the node.-Press X to confirmation prompt, type Y to save.-Exit out to root menu.-Select M,9,6 (Slot-0 Configuration screen)-At the prompt, edit the IP address, then press Enter.-Select 11 (Slot-0 IP Mask prompt)-Type 255.255.255.255 then press Enter.-Type X,X to confirmation prompt, type Y to save.-At root menu, type W, N, type Y to confirm.

6.0 -Select M,23,1,E-Select Option 17 and set to valid (idle). -Select S (Summary), then select M (move). -At the Row to Move prompt, select 0.-Press Enter six times for Source VCI prompt. -Type new VCI number; press enter to complete row. -Type new VPI number; press enter to complete row.-Exit out to root menu, then select M,23,1,E-Select Option 17 then select C (Start Mgmnt VC) -Check that Pk Fd Rate and Pk Bd Rate are at 15.-Exit out to root menu.

8.0 -Log in to PCL as root with password = ADMIN -Within three seconds, press CTRL-C-At the # prompt, type passwd-Type new password at the prompt, then press Enter. -At the confirmation prompt, retype new password.-Type exit to terminate session.
