Serial number assignment to peg numbers: PFT Used by line crew match the RAU serial number with the line and station numbers The PFT has a RFID scanner that is used to record the RAUs serial number As you scan the RAU it will save a file with the serial number, the line, and the station.

QC with DH – Each station laid is QC’ed – During this process the headman will check the following:

QC effort is linked to the operating risk to lose data RAU EX : three ways to collect seismic data and/or QC attributes:

In real time through wireless connection from the recorder (1)

Harvesting teams in the field with data harvester: (2) Walking or UTV crews teams harvesting QC and seismic data simultaneously

Harvesting at the staging camp: : (3) After RAUs have been picked up, data is retrieved with data harvesters. The harvesters are then brought to the recorder and downloaded to the eUnite server.

Even after harvesting data is never erased (cycling buffer memory). With a 16 Gb RAU you can record 480 hours at 2ms SR (with compression)
