What is CaboLead? What is CaboLead?

6 week program that focuses on leadership and globalization.

10-12 participants are selected to represent St. Edward’s University

Program runs from October- February

Participants travel to Cabo San Lucas in January for a 5 day complete emersion

CaboLead Cost CaboLead Cost Cost roughly $2,000 per student

Asks each student for approximately $500

10-12 students work together to raise approximately $6,000

Who: St. Edward’s Students, Faculty or Staff

What: Sand Volleyball tournament & Salsa Competition

When: November 12, 2010 at 2p.m.

Where: Teresa Hall Intramural Field and Sand Volleyball Court (Rain Location: Alumni Gym)

3 vs. 3 Volleyball- 5 people per team

$20 per team, each member will receive a t-shirt

Rules: Rally scoring, best 2/3 to 15 pts., 3rd game to 10 pts., must win by 2 pts., single elimination

Winning Team receives a free Dinner from Cabo Bob’s

Teams will have 1 hour to make salsa

Salsa judging begins at 3:00

Winning salsa team will have their salsa served at Bon Appétit’s, The Huddle

3 judges: Brian Krellenstein- Bon Appétit John Stephan- Cabo Bob’s Pete Erickson- Assistant Student Life Director.

Materials: Table Cloths, bowls, spoons, chips, drinks- Sam’s Club

T-Shirts: 300 white, 3 color front logo shirts- Campus T-Shirt

Music: Ben Baxter Band

Decor: anything extra wanted- Party Pig

ResourcesResourcesVenue- Athletics/Residence Life

Equipment: volleyballs, bracket set-up, intramural referees- Athletics

Materials: palm tree umbrellas, water jugs, PA system/Sound, topper tender machine- Student Life

Rentals: Tables, Chairs, Trash Cans, Recycle- Physical Plant

Insurance: all students must sign Liability waiver to participate- Risk Management

Tables, chairs, trash cans will also be needed
