We are pleased to invite you to the 115th Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference in Victoria, British Columbia, August 23 – 26, 2020.

Join us in Victoria, reawaken what drives you by connecting with a Pacific coast setting like you’ve never experienced before. With the mildest climate in Canada, gardens bloom year-round in Victoria. The city is tied closely to both land and sea and the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific coast encourages all-season adventures in the great outdoors. Easily explorable by foot and at your own pace, a visit to Victoria can be as relaxing and rejuvenating as it is educational and exciting. Take advantage of the diverse historical, architectural and multicultural makeup that comes from being the oldest city in the Pacific Northwest. From First Nations history to British colonial and Asian traditions, and the landmarks, culture, cuisine, festivals and vibrant atmosphere that come with them, Victoria, B.C. is one of the world’s favourite destinations. The Greater Victoria area, nestled in beautiful, rugged west coast terrain, is home to dozens of gardens and provincial, regional and municipal parks, including some of the most famous in Canada. The Annual Conference will be held at the Fairmont Empress Hotel and the Victoria Conference Centre.

About the Canadian Association of Chiefs of PoliceOur mission is the safety and security for all Canadians through innovative police leadership.

The CACP strives to uphold its mission through:

• Consultation: Enhance public safety and security by collaborating with professional and community partners.

• Advocacy: Advance legislative and policy reform to prevent and investigate crime, support victims and solve problems in the interest of building healthy and safe communities.

• Professionalism: Broaden the body of professional knowledge in support of the development of progressive community-oriented leaders at all levels.

We encourage you to consider sponsoring at the CACP 2020 Annual Conference and Trade Show.

The following comprehensive sponsorship program offers many opportunities for quality exposure to this important audience, with options to satisfy a diverse range of marketing budgets.

Sponsorship OpportunitiesBecome a sponsor of the 2020 Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) Annual Conference to be held in Victoria, British Columbia on August 23 – 26, 2020. Hosted by the Victoria Police Department, the conference has an anticipated audience of over 325 delegates and 130 exhibit booths.

The CACP’s interests and concerns have relevance to police at all levels including municipal, regional, provincial, federal and First Nations. Many initiatives and work of the CACP and its committees throughout the year are reported on at the Annual Conference where recommendations are tendered and resolutions adopted. In many cases, these form the basis of the CACP’s ongoing work on behalf of the policing community and the society that it serves.

CACP is dedicated to the support and promotion of efficient law enforcement and to the protection and security of the people of Canada. Much of the work in pursuit of these goals is done through the activities and special projects of a number of committees and through active liaison with various levels of government and departmental ministries having legislative and executive responsibility in law and policing.
