2. 15/08/2015 CACS Independence Day
Celebration
The day’s events started to roll with a
patriotic song followed by a parade by
guards who escorted Prof. I.K. Bhat
(Director) to the stage where he hoisted the
National Flag, swelling the hearts of all
those who were present with pride. The
National Anthem was followed by the
address of Director Sir which gave an
insight on the various improvements in the
college and the more changes to come. The
students expressed their gratitude to the
martyrs in the form of patriotic song. The
cultural event was followed by tree
plantation ceremony which took place in
Ashok Vatika.

3. 15/08/2015 CACS CleaNIT
Campaign/Swachh
Bharat Abhiyan
CleaNIT Campaign was organised at
MNIT Jaipur on August 15, 2015. The
campaign was framed like a competition to
in stil students with an enthusiasm to clean
their campus. Since they were the ones
cleaning it, so certainly they would prevent
it from becoming despoiled again. 25
teams comprising 5 students each
registered for the competition in which the
following areas of the campus were
earmarked:
Green Room Area, Central
Lawn.

Area between LT 25 and PE 3

4. 20/08/2015 CACS Sadbhavana Diwas August 20, 2015 was observed as
"Sadbhavana Diwas" at MNIT Jaipur to
promote national integration and
communal harmony among the people. On
this occasion, the Pledge taking ceremony
was organized at 12.30 p.m. in the Central
Lawns. Prof. Ravindra Nagar, officiating
Director, administered the pledge to all the
faculty, staff and students of the Institute.

Society
Solo singing
competition
Music speaks what cannot be expressed
soothes the mind and gives it rest. To
justify this, a solo singing competition was
organized by the dance and music society,
MNIT on 8th Sept 2015The competition
was judged by Mrs. Bhavna Bhatt and Mr.
Mahesh Dangi. The results were
announced and the first position was
bagged by Aparna Sahoo.

Hindustani Vocal On 12th of September, MNIT witnessed
the singing and music of Banaras tradition.
Occasion was an evening of classical
music organised by SPIC MACAY society
under the SPIC MACAY Jaipur chapter.
The performing artists were SHRI
RITESH AND RAJNEESH MISHRA,
sons of the living legends Pt. Rajan Mishra
and Pt. Sajan Mishra. They are known for
their ability to create heavenly music that
soothes the mind, body and soul, hail from
the ancient city of Banaras and represent
the tradition of Banaras Gharana named
after the city. They are skilled with rich
knowledge of Indian Ragas; the duos
render Khayal, Tappa, Tarana Bhajans and
other classical forms, casting a spell on the
audience. The program started with
vilambit teen taal composition in raag
puriya dhanashree followed by duet
composition "Payaliya jhankar mori".
There was also an interactive session with
the students related to their art. Next part
was to sing a composition with audience
and then they concluded with a bhajan. On
tabla Shubh maharaj was fabulous and on
harmonium Pt. Kanta Prasad Mishra gave
effective accomplishment. The program
was witnessed by about 120 students and
faculties.

Puruliya Chhau
Dance
SPIC MACAY society organised the
performance of PURULIYA CHHAU
dance by artists TARAPAD RAJJAK &
GROUP on 25thSeptember 2015.
Dance belongs to Bengal tradition in
which artists presents many ancient stories
of India like Ramayana, Mahabharata,
Shivpuran, MahishasurVaddha etc.Chhau
dance is a genre of Indian tribal martial
dance which is popular in the Indian states
of Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. It
originated as a martial art and contains
vigourous movements and leaps.Some
chhau dances use large stylish masks.
Depiction of birds and animals is a
distinctive feature.
The program was a huge success with
audience around 150, not only MNIT
people witnessed, there were also viewers
from outside MNIT.
27/09/2015 CACS Rangeelo Raas Garba Dandiya'15
Rangeelo Raas Garba Dandiya'15 held in
MNIT on 27th September 2015. This
event was organised for the first time in
MNIT where more than 1000 students had
arrived to play dandiya and garba.
The students had a gala time as they
danced to the traditional music of Gujarat
and the event was very well recieved.
For the event we also had a dandiya stick
seller who visited our college regularly and
we also had a person supply the traditional
dress for rent.
The organizing team had also put up a
photobooth which was taken care by the
photography and film society, also the
decorations of the day were done by the
fine arts society.

Prop Designing
Competition
FINE ARTS SOCIETY of Creative Arts
and Cultural Society organized a “PROP
DESIGNING EVENT” on 26th September
2015. Students were given clay pots of
different shapes and sizes which were
required to decorate in a traditional way
through paints, mirrors and laces. Also
they were to prepare cultural wall hangings
with mirrors, laces and bells. About 50
students from first and second year
participated actively in the competition.
The event aimed at involving students in
cultural activities and also the stuff
prepared became a major part of
decoration of “RANGEELO
DANDIYA”.The money obtained from the
officials was purposefully utilized. The
event was a huge success and the role of
FINE ARTS SOCIETY in it was greatly
praised.

Tabla Workshop On Tuesday, September 29, 2015 a Tabla
workshop was organized by Dance and
Music society, MNIT
The Tabla is regarded as the queen of the
drums and the percussion instruments and
is the most popular Indian rhythm
instrument. Tabla and percussion artist of
international fame, disciple of Pt. Kishan
Maharaj, Pt. Himanshu Mahant took the
audience with delight. Along with this
Harmonium was also played and taught.
The rhythms and the beats of the
instruments resonated around the campus
and the attendance and response from the
auditions was overwhelming. Students
were extremely delighted to have the
distinguished guests who took us to the
learning sphere of music. There was loud
encore but alas, the event had to come to
an end.

Web Designing
Competition
The Technical Society organized Web
Designing Competition on 30/9/15 and
01/10/15 from 5-7 PM.
The event was great success with the
participation of large number of students
and their positive feedback.More than 200
students participated in first round t,40
students were chosen for 2nd round.
Finally 3 students were declared winners.
Cash Prizes worth Rs.5000 were given to
the winners.

Lecture on
spirituality and
christanity
The spitual club had held three lectures by
Mr. Paul Raj , Brajendra Nandana Dasa
and gyani Gurdeep Singh.
Mr. Paul Raj had come to our college on
1st october 2015 to address the students on
spirituality and christanity.
Brajendra Nandana Dasa came to college
to give a lecture to the students on
spirituality based on the vedas. He is a part
of HKM Jaipur.
Each of these events were well received by
the student audience

Santoor Workshop A workshop was organized by the Dance
and Music Society (CACS) on 27th october
for bringing the flair of classical music
back to youth, covering the beautiful
performances by the artist and teaching the
basics to the members of Music Society.
Internationally acclaimed Santoor maestro
Pt Abhay Rustom Sopori with Uastad
Akram Khan on Tabla took the students
with delight. Students were extremely
delighted to have the distinguished guests
who took them to the learning sphere of
music.

and spirituality
Sh. Gyani Gurdeep Singh ji who is a
renowned speaker and a religious saint
who shared his views on sikhism and
spirituality on the 29th October 2015.
30/10/15 CACS Rashtriya Ekta
Diwas (National
Unity Day).
As per the directive from MHRD an oath-
taking ceremony was held at the entrance
of Prabha Bhavan, on 30-10-2015,
at 5.00 p.m., on the eve of the Rashtriya
Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). Large
number of students, staff and faculty were
present to take the oath.

Bridge Designing
Competition
BRIDGE-O-MANIA-Bridge Designing
Competition Using ice-Cream Sticks was
Organized on 2nd November (Monday)
and 3rd November(Tuesday) from 5 to
7pm at MNIT Jaipur.
There was the participation of more than
70 teams (each with 3 members) in first
round, 12 teams were chosen for 2nd
round and finally 3 teams were declared
winners after exhaustive judging.
Cash Prizes worth Rs.6000 were given to
winners.
5/11/2015 CACS Technology for
Peace
Mr. Prem Rawat, International speaker on
Peace, came to address the students of
MNIT on 5th November 2015. The
preparation for this event had started a
week before by the Youth Peace
Foundation team as they came and
interacted with the students throughout the
day by making them play various
games.Mr. Prem Rawat had spoken on
"Technology for Peace" and it was very
well received topic by the audience.
The total number of students and teachers
that had attended event crossed over 1500.
After his speech there was a rather
interactive session between the students
and Mr. Prem Rawat as he answered their
questions and looking from the students
response they were quite satisfied with the
answers.
The Students learnt the importance of the
peace and the important role it plays in the
development of our country.

Tshirt Designing
Event
FINE ARTS SOCIETY organized a
“TSHIRT DESIGNING EVENT” on 5th
November 2015. Students were given plain
white Tshirts of different sizes which were
required to be painted using fabric colors.
About 110 students from first and second
year participated actively in the
competition including PhD and M.tech
Scholars too. The money obtained from the
officials was purposefully utilized. The
event was a huge success and the role of

CACS First Constitution
day Celebration
The literary society of Creative Arts and
Cultural Society of MNIT Jaipur
celebrated its first constitution day by
organizing essay writing and debate
competition. The topic for essay writing
competition was IMPORTANCE OF
IMPLEMENTATION OF
CONSTITUTION IN A DEMOCRACY.
For the debate competition, the topic given
for the students was NEED OF
FREQUENT CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENTS. Even though it was so
close to the examination numerous
students from various branches and all
years had participated for the competitions.
The students spoke with a lot of
enthusiasm and battled in rebuttal rounds
for winning extra points in the debates.
The both the competitions were conducted
in the presence of juries. The juries
evaluated the students and have given their
recommendations for the first three prizes.
This day not only made students work for
the competitions but they also learnt the
importance of the constitution and the
important role it plays in the development
of our country.
The event was a success as it was learning
and an enjoyable event.
Preamble was read by students and faculty
on 26/11/2015 followed by a lecture on
Preable and salient feature of constitution
of India and its making by Prof. Prahlad
Rai, former HOD, law College University
of Raj.

Dance Performance,

Omchery Bhalla
The spic Macay society of CACS had
organized Mohiniyattam Dance
Performance by Dr. Deepti Omchery
Bhalla a true artist at the core; she is a
unique combination of singer and dancer,
well-accomplished and talented in both.
She has conducted Mohiniyattom
performances in important festivals both in
India and abroad , like The USSR
festival,Fukouka festival,Japan,Republic
day celebrations Zurich, in connection
with the celebration of the merger of Bonn
embassy with Berlin in Bonn Germany .
Besides these she has given several
concerts in Germany, Denmark,Italy,
Bosnia, Middle east, Europe, Malaysia,
Singapore, USSR, Japan and Egypt.

Youth Festival The Vigyan society held its youth festival
in honor of Swami Vivekananda from 9th
to 12th January 2016.
They had a lot of interactive events with
the students and the participation from the
students was large

BEHIND IMMORTALITY IN BHARAT”
in which they had invited Shri K. V.
GovindAcharya, Shri Ashutosh Pant, Shri
Sanjay Kumar and Shri Shubhash Kaushik.
The crowd was quite pleased with the
hardwork and the efforts of the team.

Competition
Fine Arts Society organized a “CLAY
MODELLING COMPETITION” on
19th January 2016. About 120 students
from first, second and third year
participated actively in the competition.
The event aimed at providing students a
platform to showcase their creativity. The
models prepared by the participants were
astonishing. Prizes were distributed among
the winners.
