The Crim Fitness Foundation is a public health non profit in the City of Flint

We coordinate Safe Routes to School programs at all 11 Schools within the Flint Community School System

Our programming Walking School Busses  Bike Trains Student Safety Patrols  Urban Planning and Ped Safety Curricula  Photo Voice and Story Collecting

Ask less of our schools and school staff Engage a broader population than traditionally served by SRTS programs

Impact a larger geographic area than the SRTS “Infrastructure Zone”

Address barriers not normally eligible for SRTS funding

Respond to new and unexpected barriers quickly, even after we’ve received funding. 

Walking Audits Over  150 miles of sidewalk audited 60+ Service Members have
