Does Replay truly record 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?Yes. Once a Replay system is turned on the cameras are always recording and the software automatically retrieves and stores all recorded video. All recorded video is saved for weeks and any video recording with a simulation activity will be saved forever or until you delete the file.
How does Replay know when a simulation activity has started?Replay detects the start of a simulation when one of the following actions occurs: simulator con-nection to a scenario, the start of an event log, addition of a team member to the room, or the start of annotations.
How does Replay separate video with simulation activity from video recordings with no activity?The moment a simulation actions occurs the Replay software automatically creates a chapter to segment the video and store all video, audio and simulation data.
How long are videos saved in Replay?The software keeps all video recordings for weeks and any video with a simulation session is saved forever or until the user decides to delete the video.
What if I don’t want 24/7 recording?Replay allows users to disable automatic record-ing from select rooms so that recording can be managed manually, if desired.
What simulators does Replay support?Replay captures physiological data from all CAE and non-CAE high fidelity patient simulators. We offer simulator connection kits for any model to capture all physiological data in real time, includ-ing waveform displays and trend charts.
Can Replay support real clinical events?Yes. Replay will record and save any real clinical event. Just create an annotation, add a team member or connect a real patient monitor to the HD capture kit and Replay will create a chapter where the recording will be saved forever.
How do I access Replay?Access your Replay using any web browser from any computer. If it’s your first time accessing the system, Replay will simply prompt you to enter your e-mail address so you can set up an account and password. After initial setup, users are granted access to the system via e-mail invitation to a room. Once users are granted access to a room, they can access any recordings for that room. Users can be added to multiple rooms as needed.
Does Replay support annotations?Yes. Annotations can be made during live or recorded video. Simply select the team member your annotation is about, pick a category for your annotation (i.e. communication, interven-tion), and type your note or allow Replay to auto complete based on past notes.
How many hours of video does Replay store?The portable Replay and single-room Replay systems include a 128GB SD card that supports up to 120 hours of video recordings with simulation activity. Video storage hours are expandable with additional SD cards. The multiple-room Replay system supports up to 12,000 hours of video recordings with simulation activity.
What is the cost of Replay?Replay is a solution that can be customized to fit your simulation center. Instead of purchasing the hardware and software, Replay is offered as an annual subscription that is priced per input (i.e. camera, simulator).
Is installation included?Depending on the size of your Replay system, installation could be as simple as turning on a laptop and WiFi cameras or fixing cameras to the wall or ceiling and plugging them into a Replay AV switch. The software auto-detects your cameras and other devices, therefore it requires no professional configuration. However, CAE Healthcare offers installation as an optional purchase, if needed.
Is training included?Replay’s intuitive software is easy to use and navigate so no professional training is required. CAE Healthcare will provide a startup guide and online video tutorials to provide users with an orientation to the system.
Is support and maintenance included?Support and maintenance is included with your annual subscription to Replay. CAE Healthcare’s sup-port and maintenance covers the software and all hardware as well as the following benefits: unlimited e-mail and phone support, 24-hour response time for critical problems, free software updates, cloud-based backup of all data including all audiovisual recordings, and complete restoration of all data from cloud backups in case of equipment features.
