AUCTION RULES AND REGULATIONS

SILENT AUCTION BIDDING RULES

1. Each item has a bid sheet listing the minimum acceptable bid and minimum raise. To enter a bid, LEGIBLY PRINT YOUR NAME, CONTACT INFORMATION AND BID DETERMINED BY THE MINIMUM BID OR RAISE on the bid sheet corresponding to the item you desire.

2. Each new bid must exceed the previous bid by the minimum raise on the bid sheet or it will be disqualified.

3. The closing bid will be determined by an Auction Official constituting the winning bid. Bids entered at, or after, the closing will not be valid.

5. In the event of a dispute, the Auction Official shall act as the final authority. Hotly contested items are subject to “Live” closing by auction officials. Such closing will be done immediately following the close of the Silent Auction, and the decision of the Auction Official shall be final.

PICK-UP/PAYMENT INFORMATION

1. Pick-up and final payment for auction items will be after the Silent Auction closes on Friday, April 24, 2015, at approximately 8 PM.

2. All items purchased should be paid for and removed from event location immediately after the auction.

3. Cash and personal checks (made out to Cale PTO) are preferred. American Express, MasterCard, and VISA are acceptable, but subject to a 3% additional charge to cover processing fees.

4. Though preferred, you do not need to be present to have the winning bid. An Auction Official will contact winners after the auction to arrange payment and delivery of item. If arrangements cannot be made and secured within one week of the auction closing, the Auction Official has the option to offer item to the next highest bidder.

ADDITIONALLY . . .

1. All sales are final.

2. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items involving services or gift certificates must be used within one year from the date of the auction.

3. By his/her purchase, the Buyer waives any claims for liability against either Cale PTO, Cale Elementary School or the donor of the property or services. Neither the school nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the use of property or services sold.
