We receive no government funding to provide these services. Our holiday calendar has been planned so that we are offering an interesting and exciting range of options. Over the past few years through discussions with our guests, their families and carers we have gained valuable feedback, that has ensured that what we have to offer is what people really want and expect in a holiday. A number of our guests’ family members and carers have commented favourably on the comparatively low cost of our holidays. We are continuing to keep our fees as low as possible and we also save our guests money by arranging to pick them up and drop them off at their homes as part of our service. Arrangements can be made to accommodate guests prior to a holiday if the person is unable to be picked up from their home, due to living some distance away from Ballarat. SYDNEY TRAIN LOVERS
The Country train runs from Melbourne to Sydney twice daily, departing from Southern Cross station and travelling to Sydney Central station. The journey takes about ten and a half hours. We will travel to Melbourne Sunday evening and stay overnight near Southern Cross Station, before catching the 8.30am Monday morning train to Sydney.
Our time in Sydney will be spent sightseeing, catching a ferry, exploring the Opera House and wandering through the parks and gardens in the city area.

Phillip Island
During our Phillip Island holiday we will visit the Koala Conservation Centre for an up close and personal experience with the koalas in their natural habitat and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the area.
The main highlight of the holiday will be a visit to the one of Australia’s most popular tourist attractions, the Phillip Island Nature Park. Here we will be able to enjoy the wonder of the evening penguin parade, as the penguins emerge from the ocean to find their way to their burrows. We will be literally only a couple of meters away from these busy little creatures, as they scurry underneath the viewing board walk on their homeward journey.
