AcceptanceofMinutes3. Uponamotionmadeandseconded, minutesoftheSeptember7, 2016meetingwereapprovedunanimouslyonvoicevote.

4. ReportfromArchitect ~ BLCompanyRayBradwell, SeniorProjectManageratBLpresentedthesiteplanindetailtothecommittee. Hestatedthe

parkinglotfromHobartStreetwillbereusedtominimizecoststothetown. AnotherdrivewayfromPleasantStreetwillbeexpandedtoallowaleftandrightturn. Theparkinglotinfrontwillbewheretheexistingbuildingis. Alongthesideofbuildingwillbethecanopyforthevans. Treeswillbeplantedalongtheparkinglotandlowevergreenshrubswillbeplacedalongtheperimeteronthefront, sideandbackofbuilding. Aflagpolewillbeontheeastsideofbuildingwithstampedconcretepavement. ExistingsidewalkswillbeusedalongPleasantandHobartStreets. Hewilllookatthebuscanopyareatobesureafiretruckcanmaketheturnincaseofemergency. Thefrontandcentercolumnswereremovedfromthebusport. Mr. SciotarequestedtoinformMr. Verderameofwhatparkingwillbeavailableandwhenduringtheconstructionprocess. Mr. VerderamestatedtherewasamemorialonthegroundsforRobOshana. Mr. Bradwellstatedhewilltakeapictureofthememorialsoitcanbemovedandputbackonthegroundsoncetheprojectiscomplete. Mr. Bradwellnextpresentedplansforstormwatermanagement. Abasinonthesouthwestareaofthesite willcontrolwaterbeforeitleavesthesite. Waterwillbetreatedinaccordancewithstateguidelines. Theconceptualdesignhadanundergroundsystemwhichwaseliminatedforasignificantcostsavings. AllprimaryutilityserviceswillcomeoffPleasantStreetandusetheexistingnetwork. Thesewillbelocatedonthesouthsideofbuildingalongwiththegenerator. Mr. Bovinostatedhisconcernwiththedetentionarea. Heunderstandsthecostinvolvedwithanundergroundsystembutsuggesteditbelookedatagainasopenpondsrequiremaintenance. Itwillalsoleavemoreopenspaceontheproperty. Hesuggestedlandscapinginfronthaveonetree, nottwoasshowninthedesign. Mr. SciotaacknowledgedMr. Bovinospointandrecommendedputtinganundergroundsysteminasabidalternatetoseewhatthecostcomesinat.

5. ReportfromConstructionManager ~ KBEMs. Millardpresentedarevisedestimatenarrativeshowingtheprojectnowunder $9.4million. Sitedesign

changesbroughtlotsofsavingsbydisturbinglessofthesite, alsomakingthebuildingsmaller, keepingexistingcurbcutsandsidewalks. Sheaskedasitespecialisttolookatthecostofanundergroundvs. abovegrounddrainageandtheundergroundsystemcostsapproximately $20,000-30,000more. Itcanbeincorporatedasanalternateinthebid.

6. ReportfromExecutiveDirectorMr. Verderamestatedtherehasneverbeenaproblemwiththedetentionpondoverflowing. Heaskedifthe

entrancefromHobartSt. couldbemadebigger? Mr. Kohlstatedtheywilllookintoit. Mr. VerderamestatedtheOrchardValleyGardenClubhelpedtheminthepastwithshrubsandtrees. Mr. Sciotasuggestedheshowthemtheapprovedsiteplanandtheycanchoosewhattheywouldliketodo.

Mr. Champangeintroducedthenewestmembertothebuildingcommittee, Mr. PaulShupenko, whoreplacesPeterFreeman.
