March 21st (Calgary, AB) - The Calgary Leadership Forum is releasing the results of an extensiurvey looking at key issues affecting Calgary. The survey conducted by Mainstreet Research h

    a margin of error of +/- 3.07%, 19 times out of 20.

I was not surprised to see the high percentage of voters pessimistic of their own financial

tatus and the state of the economy in Alberta. We are entering into an another year or two

years of grave uncertainty as to our economic well being,” said James Maxim of the CalgaryLeadership Forum.

The Calgary Next project is being followed by a large percentage of Voters at 64% which I fin

very interesting,” he continued. “Almost half of Calgarians (48%) say it should be the FlamesOwnership that should pay for CalgaryNext. 1/5 have not made up their mind yet as to whethegovernment should be involved, but the trend is pretty clear that many are opposed to taxpaynvolvement in this project.”

Highlights62% approve of Neheed Nenshi’s performance as Mayor.37% of Calgarians are pessimistic about their families financial situation.

67% are pessimistic about the state of the Alberta economy.64% approve of adding flouride to Calgary’s drinking water.

64% of Calgarians are following the Calgary Next development story.43% approve and 44% oppose the Calgary Next Project
