We do not mean to alarm you, but Orange County faces a fiscal crisis brought on by the government employee unions seeking lavish pensions and benefits. Unless taxpayers make a stand, another bankruptcy could be in the county’s future.
Ground Zero in the battle between taxpayers and government employee unions is right in your neighborhood.
One candidate for Supervisor in your district - and only one candidate – has vowed to oppose the union agenda and stand up for taxpayers. That candidate is Shawn Nelson.
As a Fullerton City Councilman, Shawn Nelson has exposed back-room pension spiking deals and stood tall for taxpayers. Not surprisingly, that has the union bosses upset. To be blunt, they have vowed to stop Nelson at all costs...
…are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on direct mail, tv ads and phone calls to promote two pro-union candidates running against Shawn.
…have sent “hit pieces” to voters that smear Shawn Nelson with the worst lies, even going so far as to claim he “defends terrorists.”
…angrily denounced the Republican Party for opposing their radical union agenda.
We won’t back down because Government employee unions demanding higher pensions, salaries and benefits cannot be allowed to elect one of their puppets.
