    years 2008-2009 to 2010-2011.

    DataSystem(QNEDS),andQatarNaonalSchoolAccreditaon(QNSA)

    comprisetheEvaluaonInstute.

    It is with pleasure that I present the 2010-2011 School Report Card (SRC) to you,asitishasaveryimportantroleintheevaluaonanddevelopmentofeducaoninQatar.Qatarseducaonaliniaveisdesignedtoimproveeducaonthroughincreasedautonomy,accountability,choiceandvarietyandtheSRCisakeyelementin this process.

    CollecvelytheinformaonintheSRCscanbeseentofostervarietyindepicngschools dierent features; to facilitate choiceby informing parents; to ensureaccountabilitybyfocusingonschoolsperformanceandallowingthemtobeheldresponsibleforoutcomes;andtosupportautonomybyprovidingschoolswiththe

    opportunitytopresenttheirdisnctfeatures.Fundamentally,however,theSRCsaredesignedtoinformyourinvolvementanddecision-makingwithrespecttoyourchildsschoolsandschooling.

    This isthe seventhyear inwhichSRCshavebeendistributedand,whilstsomeaddionaldataarereportedthisme,theformatissimilartothatwhichhasbeenusedpreviously.TheSRCpresentsawiderangeofinformaonabouttheschoolscharacteriscsandperformanceinthe2010-2011schoolyear.Inaddion,aspectsof the schools performance are compared with previous performance of theschool, and with the performance of other schools.
