Course details1. CambridgeProfessionalAcademyLtd(CPA)reservestherighttorefuseanyapplicationfromapotentialstudentoremployer

foranyofthecoursesprovided.

2. CPAisanequalopportunitiestrainingprovideranddoesnotdiscriminateonbasisofage,gender,raceorreligion.

3. CPAwillprovidetutorsupportforaperiodof2years.ThedateofenrolmentcommencesfromthedateofregistrationwithCPA.Thismaybeextendedbypriorwrittenagreement.

4. CPAreservestherighttoamenddetailsregardingworkshops,coursesandstudymethodswithoutpriornotice.

5. CPAdoesnotacceptresponsibilitytore-supplyanupdatedversionoralternativetitleofacoursetextbookifitbecomesavailableduringtherelevantstudyperiod.

6. CPAreservestherighttousewhichevertutordeemedappropriateandtosubstitutethetutorwithanalternativetutorortutorswherenecessary.

7. Uponrequest,CPAwillprovidestudentprogressreportstocompaniesregardingtheirsponsoredstudents.

8. DeferralrequestsmustbeawrittennotificationtoCPAandreceivedaminimumof30dayspriortotheendofyourenrolmentperiod.RequeststodefercoursetuitionareatthediscretionofCPA.

9. Ifstudentswishtoextendthetuitionsupportbeyondtheagreed2yearsandhavenotprovidedsatisfactorycircumstancesorwrittennotificationanadditionalfeeof£100+VATpermoduleischarged.Anyadditionalworkshopsandmaterialrequiredarechargeableatthestandardrate.

10. Anadditionalchargeof£50+VATperassessmentischargeablewhenthestudenthasfailedtosubmittheassignmentbytheagreeddateandthereforeanextradeadlinedatemustbeorganised.

Pass Guarantee11. ThePassGuaranteeisincludedaspartoftheCPAofferingwherebyonceallduefeeshavebeenpaid,CPAagreestosupport

thestudentfornoadditionalchargeuntilthestudentcompletestheiragreedmodulesorcourse,notwithstandingtheitemsabove.CPAagreestoprovidethestudentwith:

a) on-goingtutorsupportincludingfeedbackontwodraftversionsofeachassignmentb) accesstotheonlinestudyareac) freeattendancetothenecessaryworkshops(wheretheyarealreadypartofthepackage)

Thestudentmust:a) readallrequiredcoursetextb) setasidesufficientregulartimetostudyc) takereasonableadvantageofthetutorsupportavailabled) attendallworkshopsrequiredforthemodule(whereselected)e) meetallassignmentdeadlinedates(assignmentassessmentonly)f) submitadraftassignmenttothetutor(assignmentassessmentonly)g) acknowledgetutorfeedbackcommentsandamendassignmenttextasrecommended(assignmentassessment

only)h) completeaprovided/recommendedmockexam(examassessmentonly)

Fees12. AllCambridgeProfessionalAcademyfeesarecorrectattimeofpublishing,forthemostrecentanduptodatefeesplease

13. AllcostsprovidedareforUKstudentsonly,overseascostsincuranadditionalchargeforpostage.Detailsavailableonrequest.

14. IfstudymaterialisreturnedtotheCambridgeProfessionalAcademyofficeforanyreason,thestudentwillbeliableforanyadditionalpostagecostsincurredforits’re-delivery.

15. Thestudentisresponsibleforpayingtherelevantprofessionalbodymembershipandassessmentregistrationfeeswherethesearenotincludedinthequalificationfees(CIMOnly)

16. Anadministrationfeewillapplyinthefollowingcircumstances:a)£10perpayeeforsplitpayments(UKandoverseasbasedstudents)wherefeeispayablebymorethanonepayeeb)£50perstudentfortransferringfromanoldsyllabustoanewlyavailablesyllabus.c)£25perstudentifanyamendmentsneedtobemadetoyourenrolmentafterithasbeenprocessed.

17. Stagedpaymentsareavailableforfullaccreditedcourses(UKbasedstudentsonly).

18. Thefollowingcoursescanbepaidbyastagedpaymentoftwoconsecutivemonthlyinstalmentsonly:a) IntroductoryCertificateinMarketingb) AnyCharteredManagementInstituteawardqualificationc) AnyInstituteofSalesandMarketingManagementawardqualification

Allotherrelevantcourseshavetheoptionofthreeorfourconsecutivemonthlyinstalments.

19. Forstagedpaymentsthefirstpaymentwillbeduewiththeapplicationandwillbecalculatedasthetotalcostofthecoursedividedbythenumberofinstalmentsplusanyrelevantregistration/membershipfee.(threeandfourmonthlyoptiononly)

20.Fortheeightmonthstagedpaymentoption,aninitialfeeof£350(£420includingVAT)whichincludesa£50(£60includingVAT)administrationfeeanallrelevantmembership/registrationfeeswillbeduewiththeapplication.

21. AllfeesduetoCPAmustbepaidinfull14dayspriortothecommencementofthecourse,unlessbypriorarrangementstagedpaymentisagreed.Ifpayingbystagedpaymentsthe1stpaymentamountisdueattimeofregistrationofenrolment.

22. Wheretheemployeristhepayee,theemployerisresponsibleforallunpaidfeesinallcircumstancesincludingsituationsofterminationofemploymentofthestudentorcancellationofthecoursebytheemployer.

23. CPAmustbenotifiedofanyqueriesorcomplaintsrelatingtotheinvoicewithin14daysofreceiptofinvoice.

24. Non-receiptofpaymentswillresultinthesuspensionofalltuitionservicesincludingnotsubmittingassignmentsorenteringthestudentinforexamsuntilpaymentisreceived.

25. Ifpaymentisnotmadeinaccordancewiththetermsofpaymentstatedontheinvoice:a) CPAreservestherighttochargeinteresttothebuyerattherateof2%permonthontheunpaidbalance.Interest

willbeaccruedonaday-to-daybasisfromtheduedateforpaymentuntilreceiptbyCPAofthefullamountwhetherbeforeorafteranyJudgement,and

b)ThebuyershallindemnifyCPAagainstallcostsandexpenses(includinganylegalcostsandexpensesonafullindemnitybasis)incurredorsustainedbyCPAinrecoveringsumsdueineachcasewithoutprejudicetoanyotherrightsorremediesavailabletoCPA.

26. Chargesincurredduetodishonouredchequesornon-paymentwillbepassedontothePayee.

27. Anyrelevantcoursematerialwillbedespatchedonreceiptoftheagreedinitialpaymentorauthorisationtoinvoiceemployer.

28. CPAreservestherighttoreviseandvaryfeesatanytime.

Cancellation29. CPAreservestherighttocancel,rescheduleorrelocateanyworkshopsoronlinetutorials;wherepossibleanalternative

willbeofferedincludinganyadditionalreasonabletravelcostsincurredasagreedbyCPApriortotravel.Duenoticewillbegivenofanychangesbutifanalternativeisnotpossiblearefundfortheworkshopfeespaidwillbemade.CPAwillpaynoconsequentiallossexpensesorotherfees.

30. CancellationsofcoursesmustbemadeinwritingtoCPA.Ifcancellationisreceivedwithin7daysofenrolmentthepayeewillreceivearefundofthefullcoursefeesexcludinganycostincurred.Anycancellationreceivedafterthe7daycoolingoffperiodbutwithin30daysofthedateofenrolmentwillresultinthepayeebeingliablefor40%ofthefullcoursefeesandanyadditionalcostsincurredinternallyandexternallyonbehalfofthestudentprovidedthatallsuppliedmaterialsarereturnedinaresalableconditionandthatnotuitionhasbeenprovidedtothestudent.Afterthe30daycancellationperiodorwheretuitionofanysorthasbeenprovidednorefundwillbemade.Thepayeeisresponsibleforallpostagecostsforreturningstudymaterial.Wherethesuppliedmaterialsarereturnedinanonresalableconditionthestandardchargewillbedeductedfromtherefundorcharged.

31. Writtennotificationofnon-attendanceofworkshopsmustbegiventous14dayspriortotheworkshopandanalternativeworkshopdatewillbeprovided.Ifnoticeisprovidedwithlessthan14daysuntiltheworkshopthefullcostoftheworkshopbecomespayableandnorefundswillbeissued.Ifthestudentwishestoattendanalternativeworkshopdatethestandardfeeischarged.

Health and Safety32. Studentsaretotakeallreasonablestepstoensurethesafetyofthemselves,colleaguesandCPAstaffwhilstattendingaCPA

eventinaccordancewiththeHealthandSafetyatWorkAct(1974).

33. CPAacceptsnoliabilityforinjuryoraccidenthowevercausedwhilstattendingaCPAevent.

34. Allsafetyprecautionslaiddownbythepremisesproviderattheteachingsiteofeachcoursemustbeadheredtobystudents.

35. CPAwilltakeallreasonablestepstoprovidetheagreedservices,howeverifduetoindustrialactionorothercircumstancesbeyondCPA’scontroldonotpermitthisCPAacceptsnoobligationtoprovideserviceslaiddowninpromotionalmaterial.

General36. CPAreservestherighttoamendthetermsandconditionswithoutpriornotice.

37. TheCPAprospectusandwebsitemarketingmaterialisforinformationpurposesonlyandwhilstallreasonablecareistakenwithits’preparationCPAdoesnotacceptliabilityforanyinaccuraciesoromissions.

38. CopyrightofallofcoursematerialincludingsoftwaresuppliedduringthestudyofthecourseremainsthepropertyofCPAunlessotherwisestated.

39. WhilsteverycareistakenintheadviceandeducationgivenbyCPAtutorsandstaff,CPAdoesnotacceptliabilityforanyloss,damageorotherexpenseincurredfromsuchadviceandeducationservices.

40. CPAagreestoabidebytherequirementsoftheDataProtectionAct1998.DetailsofhowthisisachievedareincludedintheCPAprivacystatementavailablefromtheCPAwebsiteoruponrequest.

41. CPAmustbenotifiedinwritingofanychangeofpersonalorcontactdetailsincludingemailaddress.CPAacceptsnoresponsibilityforanycoursematerialorinformationthatisnotreceivedbythestudentduetofailureofnotification.

4. AnydoubtorambiguityofthesetermsandconditionsshallbedecidedsolelybyCPAinaccordancewithEnglishLaw.
