James 1:2-3
Parents,
Camp Bethel celebrates its 73rd
year of ministry with the theme
“Survivor”. In James 1:2-3 we are
warned that, as Christians, we will
encounter various trials. But we
are also told in verse three that
through that testing the ability to
endure will be produced.
It is our desire to provide for your
child a secure, safe environment
where he or she can come and
experience the love of Christ
through the activities, teaching,
and staff.
As you look through this brochure,
and find that you have some
questions, please do not hesitate to
give us a call.
Looking forward,
Jeff Rolen
Day TrekIs your young camper not quite ready to spend an entire week away from home? Or maybe your teen has other obligations in the evening. Then Day Trek is what you need! Day Trek will start each morning at 8:30 with breakfast and end at 5 in the afternoon. Day Trek campers will enjoy the same program throughout the day as those attending the full week. Day Trek is available for all weeks of camp.
IN ADDITIONIf you attended Camp Bethel either last summer or the summer before you are eligible for two great opportunities!!! FIRST, if you bring one or more friends that have never been to Camp Bethel you will receive a FREE t-shirt at the camp store. SECOND, for each new camper you bring that has never been to Camp Bethel your name will be made eligible for a Kindle Fire. For example: If you bring one new camper then your name goes in one time, if you bring two then it goes in twice, three new campers, then your name goes in three times. The drawing will be held during our Xtreme Teen week (July 23-28). Contact the office for more details.
Jubilee Week (Age 10-13) June 25-30Jubilee opens the door to fun and excitement with activities designed just for the 10-13 age group! The intermediate ropes course, 40’ climbing tower, Synergy Skateboard Park, paintball, zip lines across the lake, and the blob are some of the activities offered to add excitement and a challenge to the camping experience. Best of all, your child will have an opportunity to draw closer to God through praise and worship, personal quiet times, and devotions lead by cabin leaders.
Hullabaloo Week (Age 8-14) July 2-7, July 9-14How would your camper like to learn new skateboard techniques? Or would they enjoy a 40 foot slide into the lake? Why not try their hand at archery? And parents, one of the Hullabaloo weeks might be the most convenient for you! The Hullabaloo weeks combine our former 8 to 12 year old week with our 10 to 13 year old week so your children can attend the same week. All the typical camp activities will be open such as the Synergy Skateboard Park, the climbing tower, and the ever popular Blob! Campers will be met with new worship songs and exciting messages to get each camper thinking about their own walk with the Lord.
Ultimate Teen Week (Age 13-19) July 16-21Is your teen looking for something different to do this summer? Why not try a week that includes caving and rock climbing, paintball, skateboarding, mountain boarding, and afternoons at the lake? This week is designed specifically for the high school age with every day presenting opportunities for each individual to examine his or her relationship with Jesus Christ. Contemporary worship music and powerful messages will dare your teen to step outside the box for Christ.
Xtreme Teen Week/ XT-12 (Age 13-19) July 23-28This week of camp is geared towards the athletic teen. Xtreme Teen focuses on building skills in the sport of your choice. Each class will be taught by a college level player, coach, or trained personnel in that sport. These classes will consist of either your traditional sports (such as flag football, baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer) or your extreme sports (such as skate boarding, caving, rock climbing, mountain boarding). For those that prefer the more artistic side, classes in music and photography/media will be offered as well. Plus, your teen will be uplifted by praise and worship and challenged by messages each morning and evening.
