Measurement of Outreach and Recruitment
Outreach
ABAC CAMP measures outreach by:
• The number of visits to PROBE fairs• The number of high school student assembly presentations
(including out of state)
• The number of contacts with state/local migrant education agency staff (including out of state)
• The number of contacts with high school administration/staff (including out of state)
• School visit sign-in sheets, agendas, and student correspondence emails (including out of state)
Examples of Outreach
• PROBE Fairs– Select schools where prospective eligible CAMP students attend– Attend with ABAC enrollment specialists
• Stallion Days and Campus Visits– Set up table and present CAMP information– Coordinate campus visits for potential students and migrant
education school groups• Collaboration with State/Local Migrant Education Personnel
– Communicate with migrant personnel to coordinate visits to high schools, assistance in receiving required documents from students, and to obtain the Migrant Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

Recruitment
ABAC CAMP measures recruitment by:– The number of documented student contacts
received as a result of outreach during fall and spring of each year• Minimum of 300 documented student contacts• Students complete ABAC information cards• Collaborate with ABAC enrollment specialists to obtain
contact cards of potential CAMP students. (all enrollment specialists are provided with CAMP information packets)
– Recruitment files started on eligible CAMP students
