What will I eat?• ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!• There is no electricity in the Camp.• There are however, camera-charging facilities.• The desert can get extremely hot in October.• The water at Camp Kalahari is SAFE TO DRINK.• Water is precious in the desert, so please

try to conserve it.

What will I do?DRY SEASON• QUAD BIKE across the lunar expanse of

the salt pans.• LIE OUT ON THE SALT PANS as the sun sets, and

watch the planetarium show unfold with horizon-to-horizon stars.

• Take a radical sabbatical – sign up for a 5 night quad bike expedition to KUBU ISLAND.

When is a good time to go?ALL YEAR ROUNDDRY SEASON: Winter 16th April – 31st OctoberWET SEASON: Summer 1st November – 15th AprilActivities are weather dependent.

How do I get there?Fly to Johannesburg, and then to Maun, Botswana. From Maun, take a smaller charter plane to Camp Kalahari.

Zebra & Wildebeest rely on the Boteti river during the dry deason & migrate east to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in the rainy season, and stay until the waterholes dry up.
