Gideon has served as
Senior Pastor of New Life
Community Church in
Hanover Township for 15
years. Twenty years ago
he answered God’s call and entered fulltime
pastoral ministry. He has performed as a tenor
soloist, performed in and directed theater and
musicals and has taught speech and oral
interpretation courses at the University of the
Philippines. He also performed at Sight and Sound
Theater in Lancaster as a soloist and actor for two
years. He continues to do concerts, here and
abroad, as God opens opportunities.

Pastor Dan has served for
the last 26 years as Lead
Pastor of the Friends Church
in Hughesville, PA. He and
his wife Lea have been
married for 32 years and
have 3 grown daughters and
5 grandchildren. Pastor Dan has served as a
church planter, pastor, missionary and
denominational leader since 1989.

Patricia Woolever*
Bible Study Leader July 1923
Patricia is a retired
elder in the Susquehanna
Annual Conference. She served as a pastor
and a District Superintendent. A clergy
spouse for 38 years, his life was a gift to
her. She now serves as a Spiritual Director
to several pastors and laity. The week’s
study: Making the Lord’s Prayer your
prayer.
Tyler Rauhauser Bible Study Leader
July 2630 Tyler grew up In the
UMC church and currently serves
Benton, Waller, and
Town Hill UMC’s at The Well. He is from
York, PA and graduated from Shippensburg
University and Asbury Theological
Seminary. Tyler, wife Kathryn and Cooper,
live in the Town Hill parsonage. The week’s
study: Book of James
Music Team Brenda Nighbert*
Pianist Brenda lives in Forty
Fort and serves as
ChoirDirector/ Organist/
Pianist in three churches. Throughout
her musical career she
has directed, conducted,
and/or accompanied various
theater/musical performances at high
schools, colleges and professional theater
in the region. She is a piano/flute teacher
of 50 years and the mother of twin sons
and a daughter. TBA

Youth
Ken Lewis, Senior Youth Leader
Week 1 Ken currently serves as
lay leader at The Well
where he has also been
on staff as Director of Community
Connections, served on
church council, led small
groups and delivered sermons. He enjoys
coaching youth sports and volunteering at
the Community Center in Benton where he
lives with is wife and three sons.
Scott Lyons Senior Youth
Leader, Week 2 Scott has been
ministering at
Stillwater Christian Church 18 years. He has
a degree in elementary education and
taught in the Pocono Mountain School
District before entering ministry full time.
He and his wife Julie have two sons, Grant
and Zachary.
Tina Woodward* Senior Youth Assistant
Tina has served as youth
leader at Calvary Bible
Chapel for over 20 years
and is a high school English
teacher at Calvary’s
Muhlenburg Christian Academy. She
earned her BS in Secondary Education from
Bloomsburg University.
Brooke Nickles* Jr Youth Leader
Brooke and family are very
active at Stillwater Christian Church.
She enjoys
homeschooling her kids and hosting guests
at their B&B. The Nickles have been
cottageholders since 2017 and love the
grove. Brooke, husband Corey and 2
children live in Benton.
Portia Woodward Jr Youth Assistant
Portia is a junior at
Bloomsburg University
studying art and art
history, where she is
also the president of
Cru, a campus ministry
and gospelcentered community. She also
leads worship at her church and in Cru. She
enjoyed attending VBS at the Grove in
years past and looks forward to returning.

Jennifer Smith* VBS Director
Miss Jen is excited for
her eighth year as VBS
Director and 19th year as
a cottageholder. Jen
teaches second grade for
the Union Springs
Central School District
and is active in her school and home
community. She will celebrate 35 years of
marriage to Ralph in November. They love
spending time with their three children and
two grandsons.
Jeanette Harvey* VBS Assistant
Jeanette is a graduate of
American Seminary of
the Bible and served
with Children’s Ministry
of the Bible Christian
Union for some years.
