OUR PASSION

Since its creation in 1995, the Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS) has become an important part of the French community in Shanghai thanks to it curricu-lum accredited by the Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger (AEFE), its innovative language programs and its modern facilities.The school welcomes around 1600 students from kindergarten to high school, on two campuses.

The school hires the services of two Chinese bus companies and organizes a transporta-tion service. Use of this service requires registration and �nancial participation.

TRANSPORTATION

Both campuses have canteens run by professional companies with international standards. Kinder-garten students are served lunch in a separate room and directly to the lunch table. School meal costs are included in the school fees.

Nurses ensure �rst-aid emergency help. They also run health awareness campaigns, monitor students with special needs and update the medical information of each student.As part of the school project, the LFS highly values individualizing students' learning paths in order to help them achieve success. By doing that, students with special needs can receive a specialized support.

S tat e o f t h e a r t fa c i l i t i e s

Extra-curricular activities are available on some afternoons and/or after class. Our school sports teams participate to competi-tions in Shanghai, China and abroad in partnership with other French schools of Asia-Paci�c region.

Our school wishes to promote community service as a way to enhance student participation in our institution.LFS has its own Habitat for Humanity campus chapter which organizes a Global village trip every year.
