This self-guided walking tour will give you the opportunity to experience the ram community first hand. The combination of outstanding academic programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and enthusiastic student involvement is why many call CSU home. Discover CSU’s eight colleges, dine at one of our award-winning dining centers, and get to know the lively academic community that is Colorado State University!

1. Ammons HallOriginally built as the Women’s Recreation Center in 1922, with an indoor pool. The pool is now filled in and Ammons Hall is home to the University Welcome Center and Office of Admissions.

2. OvalTake a walk through the Oval and discover the historic district of campus. With buildings dating as far back as 1881 (Spruce Hall), the oval embodies the vast history of campus. Shaded by American elm trees, the Oval is a perfect place to for students to study and recreate. The annual homecoming parade, President’s Annual Fall Address, and multiple weddings take place here each year.

3. Lory Student CenterWith more than 20,000 people passing through its doors each day, the Lory Student Center (LSC) underwent a major renovation in 2014. This facility houses a food court, the CSU Bookstore, Student Advocacy offices, meeting space, ballrooms, and a microbrewery that serves as a lab for fermentation science.

4. Morgan LibraryThe Morgan Library has been providing research and study space for students since 1964. It currently holds 2 million books and journals in its collection. Extensive renovation of the library, which includes a 24-hour study cube, has revitalized the space to be more suitable for current students.
