introduction

Canada is located at the northern end of North America; its capital is the city of Ottawa. It is the second largest country in the world. The most popular sports are ice hockey, Canadian football and baseball. If the religion most Canadians profess the Catholic religion, followed by Protestants, Judaism and others.

History

The first inhabitants of the territory that now includes Canada were the "First Nations", 13 the esquimales14 and Métis. Old Crow Flats and Bluefish Caves are the oldest archaeological sites left by the first inhabitants of Canada.

Flowers and animals

A large part of Canadian territory is covered by forests of timber, which highlights the pine, cedar and maple. The fauna can be found bears, wolves, coyotes, pumas, among other carnivorous animals

Government

Canada has a parliamentary government with strong democratic traditions. The Parliament is composed of the Crown , an elected by the people’s House of Commons and an appointed Senate.

Each Member of the Parliament in the House of Commons is elected by a simple majority in an electoral district or its equivalent.

CULTURE

Historically, Canadian culture has been influenced by the traditions and customs of cultures, English, French and indigenous. Across the country, you can find various forms of cultural expressions, linguistic, artistic and musical hallmarks of every holiday region of Innsbruck

TOURISTC PLACES

Canada has a large domestic and foreign tourism industry. The second largest country in the world, Canada's incredible geographical variety is a significant tourist attractor. Much of the country's tourism is centered around Canada's four largest cities, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Ottawa, well-known for their culture, diversity, as well as the many national parks and historic sites.

FLAGA Canadian flag, also known as English as The Maple Leaf is a red flag with a white square at its center, within which is a stylized red maple leaf of 11 points .
