Variations of a raditional jump rope rhyme from Reading Rumba

Variations: Replace underlined phrase with an original rhyming phrase.

Examples: was a yummy soup that everyone knows called stewwas a sticky mess that barely flows called gluewas a squirmy germ that plugs up your nose called flu (etc.)(Try to show all the ways to spell the long u sound.)

The "Named what? Named Boo. " section is "call and response."The song leader can vary the rhythm of the calls.

foot, so that you'll step out on the other side next tintc.That is, dance LRLR RLRL. Try walking your fingersover thefootprints to appreciate how this alternationworks. When you can do the step, try marching asyou sing your favorite parts.
