Depart this evening on an overnight flight to Rome from Newark

You will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel. En route we

stop at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls for Mass and a

prayer of thanks for our safe journey. Rest of the afternoon is at leisure

to become acclimated to the new country and a new time zone. Tonight

after dinner we will have a walking tour of Rome including stops at the

Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and Piazza Navone.

Today is one of the largest historical events in the present history of the

Vatican with pilgrims attending from all over the world. Our groups

will make their way to the Vatican area very early in the morning. Due

to the nature of this event there will be standing room only. Tickets are

for general attendance, seating is not available. Afternoon at leisure.

Tonight we have a gala dinner with wine and music. Overnight Rome.

In the morning we see the major sites of Ancient Rome Ancient Rome

tour including a visit to the Coliseum, Piazza Venezia, and the Basili-

cas of Sts. Mary Major, John Lateran and the Holy Stairs Over-

night Rome. (B. Dinner at the hotel.)

Today our motorcoach takes us to Assisi for a full day excursion. Visit

the hilltop home of St. Francis. Celebrate Holy Mass at the church of

Santa Maria Degli Angeli, which contains the famous Porziuncola,

the chapel where St. Francis consecrated St. Clare. Also visit the Ba-

silica of St. Clare, where you see her incorrupt body in the crypt. At

the convent of San Damiano, see where the Miracle of the Eucharist of

Assisi took place in 1241, twelve years before St. Clare died. Visit the

church where St. Francis wrote the “Canticle of the Sun”, and see the

place where St. Clare lived. Late in the afternoon return back to Rome.

Lunch is included today as is dinner at the hotel. Overnight

Today, we start with Papal Audience followed by the incredible treas-

ures of the Vatican Museum, with a fascinating collection of historical

artifacts and precious objects of art, including the Sistine Chapel. Af-

terwards, tour the St. Peter’s Basilica. See the Crypt of St. Peter,

where the remains of the first Pope lay under the main altar and the e

tomb of John Paul II, which we visit. Overnight Rome. (B. Dinner at

We depart Rome early this morning for San Giovanni. Our day is

dedicated to Padre Pio; we honor his work as we visit his tomb

and cell, his confessional and the Capuchin Monastery of Our

Lady of Grace as well as the new Church of Santa Maria

Delle Grazia and the Home for the Relief of the Suffering. Overnight San Giovanni. (B. Special Dinner at a local restau-

rant with wine and music. )

In the morning we drive a short distance to see the Grotto of St.

Michael the Archangel, where we celebrate Mass. Then we

head back to Rome and enroute we stop to visit the ancient mon-

astery of Monte Cassino, destroyed in WWII and rebuilt by al-

lies, and originally founded by St. Benedict in 529. We tour the

Monastery and the library. Tonight the overnight is at a Rome

airport hotel. . (B.Dinner at a hotel.)

After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for our flight

Father Tom Ganley is a Priest with the Diocese of Metuchen, NJ. He is or-dained 28 years &is a sought after

Conference Speaker specializing in Divine Mercy Conferences and Heal-

Airline seating and special requests: The seats are assigned by the airlines. We do not reserve specific seats with the airline. You

may change your seat at the airport prior to departure. All special needs and requests due to medical or dietary restrictions must be re-

quested in writing. Mileage program information can be added directly by the passenger at airport prior to departure. Extensive walking

and standing are required on this pilgrimage.

Single supplement: A few single rooms are available for an additional $895.00 per person. Prices are based on two people per room .

Should your roommate cancel you are subject to the single supplement charge .

Baggage: Each participant is allowed to check (1) suitcase weighing no more than 50 lbs., and one small carry-on bag on the plane.

Airline baggage fees are not included. Please check the specific baggage fees on the airline website.

Tour Cancellation Policy: Up to 90 days prior to departure a reservation fee of $500.00 is withheld. Within 60 days of departure all

payments are non-refundable regardless of reason for cancellations. All cancellations must be in writing. Unused portions of the trip

are not refundable. We strongly urge you to purchase Trip Cancellation/Travel Insurance at an additional $ 245.00 per person for
