There is a general shortage of state-of-the-art vessels and equipment in the industry
DOF Subsea Norway s major competitive advantages:
DOF Subsea has foreseen this challenge and has ensured contracts with oursuppliers of vessels and equipment
Planning on purchasing 10 new ROVs and 10 new handling systems for delivery between 2008-2010
The ROV systems are to be installed onboard newbuild DOF Subsea vessels
ROVs with capacity down to 4,000 meters depth and mapping systems withcapacity down to full ocean depth of 12,000 meters

Survey Project - Statoil Langeled
Scope of WorkUnder the three-year Frame Agreement DOF Subsea Norway will perform survey and constuction support workLangeled As-Built inspection is done to find the exact position of the pipe and to identify possible hazard to the pipe
At the moment DOF Subsea is performing the As-built inspection work on the Langeled route from Sleipner to Easington (approx. 550km)

Scope of workSkandi Bergen is on contract for Subsea 7. The ongoing scope is replacement of a spool piece and a manifold on a template.The 2 ROVs is providing project support with the of various tools installed on the vehicles.Tools for connecting/disconnecting pipes (FMC Tie in Tool) are deployed in the vessel moon pool, with a Tower system. The operation is assisted by the ROVs.Dredging equipment is deployed over shipside and assisted with the ROVs
