About the Event The event will be called “Lulus All
Over the World”, referencing the song
“Love Train”. I thought this event title is
both catchy and fitting. I want to focus on
yoga and community, two very important
aspects of the company, and my idea is to
plan an unforgettable yoga experience for
everyone. Lululemon stores nationwide
will all take the responsibility of coming
together to help make this event special
for their location. The idea is that the
event will be held at the same time (If the
event in Atlanta is at noon, in California it
will be at nine). My vision for this event is
to bring together local communities for a
yoga practice led by chosen local Lulule-
mon ambassadors. Every Lululemon store
will be hosting a community yoga class,
preferably in an outdoor setting, within 5
miles from their store. In the case of mul-
tiple Lululemon stores located in a close
proximity, it is encouraged for the stores
to team up to bring more people to one
location, for a stronger, larger group to
connect and practice with. Not only will
people nationwide all be practicing yoga at
the same time, but the local ambassadors,
leading the class, or those who are simply
attending, will be decked out in new prod-
uct before it is available in stores.
This will give people the opportunity
to see merchandise before anyone else. It
may not seem like that amazing of an incen-
tive, but there are many Lululemon custom-
ers who know when merchandise arrives
every week, and makes a point to be there
to get the first look.
The event will begin promptly at the
designated time for each location. The
venues will vary by location, but preferably a
public park is the ideal space for this event.
Each location will implement an option in
case of lighting or heavy rain. The yoga
class will be taught by one of the local yoga
ambassadors in the community. The class
will last approximately 90 minutes in length
and will be designed for people of all levels
and abilities. Beginners and advanced yoga
practitioners will all be encouraged to come
out and enjoy this exciting event.
