Fixed detectors

Improper connections can cause leakages

Mobile gas detectors

Customer Situation• Fixed location detectors provide limited visibility of

leaks• Personnel location unknown in relation to leaks• Fixed wired detectors expensive to install• Safety of utmost importance

Customer Goals• Real time gas detection and personnel location• Optimize evacuation route planning• Meet staff safety goals• Improve productivity

Self explanatory – Four Key Barriers. How Cisco Addresses each challenge: Security – Our comprehensive portfolio of security solutions I’ve spent a lot of time with various customers who are on several different point in their digitization journey. Many are facing some considerable barriers to get there. Today, complexity is probably the biggest one for all of them. There are too many piece/ parts that don’t easily come together and this is a key reason why the manufacturing industry is lagging. There are 6 chief complexity barriers to overcome to make the transformation happen The first barrier is People, culture and their obsolete skills Then comes the ability to securely connect every extremity of your value chain Then to grow/shrink quickly on demand and the ability to manage millions of endpoints which can come only with efficient automation and management Then the ability to know what is happening real-time Followed by being able to aggregate and organize all of the data in a meaningful way And finally tie the investments to value realized

We work in concert, I’m the guy responsible for building that data fabric let me tell you what it does Our product name is Cisco Kinetic Makes these things happen, with these modules the most precious asset for a company is their data. This is even more so when the data is coming off their products, or reflects how customers use those products. Cisco Kinetic gives complete control of data to the data owners while protecting data ownership, privacy and sovereignty (regulatory) rules. nobody else can do this when paired with Cisco IoT networking and IoT security - we have a powerful and very real message for customers. and we get to play in the highly valuable data space, while being totally complementary to all the apps and analytics players out there.
