Our custom upholstery is manufactured in the USA, and is committed to the reuse-recycle philosophy. We use corn based products for our poly and recycled materials for our spring and metal items.

Blueberry PieWhen blueberries are in season, what better way to enjoy them than to make blueberry pie? This simple classic recipe will bring back memories of Grandma’s homemade cooking.

Prep time: 20 minutes Cook time: 50 minutes

INGREDIENTS3/4 cup white sugar3 tablespoons cornstarch1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon4 cups fresh organic blueberries1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie1 tablespoon butter

DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 425o F.

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon and then sprinkle over blueberries.

Line pie dish with one pie crust. Pour berry mixture into the crust and dot with butter. Cut remaining pastry into 1/2 - 3/4 inch wide strips and make the lattice top. Crimp and flute edges.

Bake pie on lower shelf of oven for about 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Enjoy with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream.

Arugula PizzaEnjoy this homemade arugula pizza as an appetizer or dinner for a crowd. You won’t be disappointed.

Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 15-20 minutes

INGREDIENTS

Crust1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 cup fat-free (skim) milk2 tablespoons olive oilToppings1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 oz)1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained1 cup fresh baby arugula leaves, chopped1 cup yellow or green bell pepper strips1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1/8 teaspoon pepper2 tablespoons freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and oil until soft dough forms (if dough is dry, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons additional milk). On a lightly floured surface, knead dough ten times. Shape dough into ball. Cover with a bowl and let stand for 10 minutes.

Place the dough ball on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Roll out to 12 inches around. Bake for 8 minutes.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over crust and top with remaining topping ingredients. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is light golden brown and cheese begins to brown. Cut into wedges to serve.
