- 4 Dry Erase Markers, Chisel tip – any color
- 2 boxes of facial tissues
- 4 Regular sized glue sticks, any brand
- 1 pack wide ruled notebook paper
- 3 packages of sheet protectors (10-20 each)
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 Large fabric 3 ring pencil pouch with the following (Leave some items at home for restocking)- 1 box colored pencils, 12 count
- 1 package of highlighters, assorted colors
- 1 packed of blue or black pens
- 12 pencils, sharpened
- 1 scissors
- 10 packs of post-it notes 3x3
- 1 pair of ear buds
- 1 Flash Drive, 8GB minimum – labeled with name
- 1 Water bottle with no spill top
- 1 TI-84 Calculator

RESPONSIBILITY
MIDDLE SCHOOL HOUSES• Each House participates in activities competitively with the
other Houses (ie: highest attendance, fewest discipline
referrals, participation in service projects, etc. )
• Each House elects students to function as House Captains,
Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant House Captain to
spearhead and supervise other major activities in which the
Houses are involved.
• Each House selects a House song, a motto, and a specific
color. Houses can be named after famous scientists,
president, etc…..
NWEA MATTERS-NWEA provides us information
of what student strength and
weaknesses are
-Data is used for intervention
enrichment groups
-Data is used for class
placement
AIG AT CARDINAL-Every classroom and student will be provided
enrichment through the Education Model
-Students who meet criteria for advanced
programs with NWEA scores, EOG scores,
grades, teacher recommendations, and other
provided measures will be appropriately placed
CARDINAL TIME
-Differentiated based on needs of students
-Classroom and formal assessments
-Vertically aligned to support intervention and
enrichment
-Will incorporate a participation grade

•ALL STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO KEEP THEIR AGENDA.
•TEACHERS WILL BE TRAINING STUDENTS HOW TO USE
THEIR AGENDA TO TRACK ASSIGNMENTS/TESTS/QUIZZES
AND GOAL SETTING
•FAMILIES SHOULD BE REVIEWING AGENDA WITH STUDENTS
ON A DAILY AND WEEKLY BASIS FOR HAPPENINGS IN THE
CLASSROOM.
