This system allows the facility to easily adjust the amount of pressure applied by the brake at every resistance level. All of the above products ship with the brake set at a minimum and maximum resistance level that is comparable to the fitness industry standard - yet our brake is only producing a resistance level equal to 14% of its maximum capacity.Your staff can easily adjust the brake down to have a minimum and maximum resistance level more appropriate for children, seniors or rehabilitation. Or, they can adjust the minimum and maximum up for Sports Performance Training. This braking versatility coupled with our Isokinetic program will challenge athletes at any level.

MAGNUM’S EASY TO USE CONSOLE

Magnum has come up with a new console to go across its product line making it simple to jump from one style product to another with little to no learning curve. We wanted to make the job of the trainer as simple as possible and make Magnum products the least intimidating to new clients as possible.

All units come with a single button Quick Start for instant access to exercise and the same programs across the board. Magnum is proud of its offering of 14 great programs. The Isokinetic program is a program that is beneficial no matter what product you are on. This program allows you to define you own workout by adding resistance when YOU want it, simply set the rpm threshold on the display and as you exceed it the resistance will be added seamlessly to try to bring you back down - go back below the threshold limit and the resistance goes away. We have spent countless hours of testing and developing our heart rate control programs to assure you an incredible and safe workout. This console also allows you to write two of your own workouts so you can have it exactly the way you want it.

In each of the Magnum consoles there are “parameter set-up” options that allow the facility manager to customize the unit to their specific clientele. Some options are: minimum starting level, screen brightness, time limit during workouts, and maximum resistance. The default maximum resistance ranges between 120-400 depending on product. This is only a small percentage of the products’ full resistance capability, for some facilities you may want to decrease this or for athletic trainers they could take this as high as 1024 for up to 2000 Watts of resistance. Another option allows you define resistance increments anywhere between 1 and 0.1, setting it at 1 will give you 16 resistance levels, 0.1 will give you 160 different resistance levels!
