• Studied Instrumentation & Control Engineering at NIT, Tiruchirappalli, ranked the 3rd best non-IIT Engineering College in ’96, when there were just 4 IIT’s in India

• Got an offer from the esteemed Automation Division, Tata Steel ’99, after fierce competition amongst 76 candidates; worked on Image Processing and Machine Vision at Tata Steel

• Got an MS degree at Missouri University of Science & Technology (mst.edu), ranked consistently amongst the Top 5 worldwide in the field of Signal Integrity for High Speed Digital Design

• Did System Integration for ‘Landmine Detection Using Pulsed Waterjet Technology’ (a US Army project) at rockmech.mst.edu, a project which was adjudged amongst the Top 20 Inventions in Y2002 by TIME.com
